Went to see "The Corpse Bride" today and it was most enjoyable. I'll admit that recently I was feeling tired of the black and purple world of Tim Burton, and that's the main reason I haven't seen "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" yet. But "The Corpse Bride" was light on the "black and purple" and was actually... kind of sweet and heart warming. Yeah, it had its little bits of quirkiness that only Burton can deliver - and that we expect, but this time he used more of a lighter hand, and I appreciated it.

We've been watching the first season of "Lost" on dvd the past week. It's neat going back and watching episodes, knowing what's going to happen. I'm picking up a few things that I missed when the episodes originally aired, but it's mainly reminding me of things to keep in mind as I watch the second season.
